NDIS Fees and Funding
Initial Consultation
All NDIS clients are required to complete an initial assessment prior to commencing ongoing therapy.
Initial consultations are billed as a 90-minute service, consisting of 60 minutes of face-to-face assessment (direct services) and 30 minutes of indirect services, including preparation, clinical analysis, documentation, and planning.
A written report is a required component of all initial NDIS assessments. Our NDIS baseline report documents the results of speech pathology assessments, outlines your child’s communication profile and functional impact, and supports therapy and goal planning in line with NDIS requirements.

Suitable for children already on an NDIS plan requiring a baseline report or plan reassessment
Ideal for NDIS plan reviews and ongoing therapy planning
Includes information about your child’s communication profile, functional impact, and goal planning aligned with NDIS expectations
Completed as a comprehensive report with a standard 4-hour allocation due to the level of detail required
Some reports may require additional time depending on complexity. Your Speech Language Pathologist will advise if this is needed.
Ongoing NDIS Therapy Sessions
Ongoing NDIS therapy sessions are provided once an initial assessment has been completed and therapy goals have been established.
Our NDIS services are charged in line with the current NDIS Price Guide hourly rate of $193.99 for speech pathology supports.
To meet NDIS expectations for evidence-based intervention, documentation, and parent capacity building, our standard NDIS therapy appointments are delivered as an 80-minute service, which includes both direct and indirect supports.
This includes:
- 50 minutes face-to-face therapy (direct services)
- 15 minutes for session planning and resource preparation, including preparing and personalising therapy materials (indirect services)
- 15 minutes for clinical analysis, parent capacity building, and record keeping (indirect services)
Based on the NDIS hourly rate of $193.99, the total cost of each 80-minute NDIS therapy session is $258.59.
All other NDIS services are charged at the NDIS hourly rate of $193.99 for the amount of time used. This includes report writing and consultations or collaboration with other professionals or educators (such as phone calls, emails, Zoom meetings, or case discussions) when required to support your child’s therapy, planning, or NDIS requirements.
