As a young child, Lieselle had a stutter and attended speech pathology sessions herself, so she’s had a personal connection with the profession before she found her calling as an adult when she realised she had a passion for working with kids and languages.
While originally from Sydney, Lieselle has worked in various paediatric clinics including in Sydney, Townsville and the Sunshine Coast, before settling here in Brisbane. She has a broad range of experience across the whole spectrum of communication development including stuttering, speech sound disorders, language delays/disorders, literacy difficulties and social communication skills. She loves working with kids of all ages and is experienced in working with toddlers to school aged kids as well as kids with Autism. She has completed various additional training including Hanen (It Takes Two To Talk), PECS, PROMPT, Sounds-Write and many more. She loves to help kids and their families reach their full potential so that they can successfully communicate and learn within their home, school and community settings.
As the Clinical Team Leader, Lieselle manages our Speech Language Pathology team by providing ongoing mentoring, training and guidance to ensure that all our SLPs are well supported and that the clinic is operating at its highest quality to provide expert services to our families.
