For Michele, Speech Pathology became a natural career choice through a combination of personal interests and a growing curiosity about the field. Initially drawn to the study of voice, she was fascinated by how we produce and use sound to communicate. Her love for singing further deepened this interest, leading her to explore the science behind speech and language. Coupled with her passion for working with children and the joy of witnessing their progress, she discovered a calling in helping young minds develop strong communication skills. Her previous experience tutoring children in English, focusing on spelling, narratives, and grammar, further reinforced her dedication to language development and literacy.
Before joining Kids Chatter, Michele worked extensively as a tutor, guiding children in their English studies and building essential language skills. Having attended an international school in Hong Kong, she grew up speaking English and is also a native speaker of Cantonese with proficiency in Mandarin. Her hands-on experience in supporting young learners, combined with her multilingual background, has given her a strong foundation in helping children develop confidence in their communication abilities.

Michele has a keen interest in literacy skills, speech sound disorders and language development and enjoys the challenge of tailoring therapy to each child’s unique needs. She believes that fostering a strong foundation in these areas empowers children to communicate confidently and effectively in their daily lives. Families working with Michele can look forward to her enthusiastic, caring, and evidence-based approach to therapy.
Outside of work, Michele has a creative and adventurous side. She enjoys watching TV shows, movies, and musicals, as well as participating in theatre, drama, and singing. Her love for travel fuels her curiosity about different cultures, and she has a growing passion for photography, capturing special moments along the way. Whether she’s engaging in the arts or exploring new destinations, her vibrant energy and enthusiasm shine through in everything she does.
